With this app, you can easily detect the sound around you and categorize the noise into different noise levels.

This app uses your phone microphone to measure the sound level and display it in both gauge and graph line format. It also displays Min/avg/Max decibel value and the elapsed time. You can easily play and pause to measure any kind of environmental noise. The app also displays noise information and can be used to measure too noisy sounds and whisper of human. However, the app has some limitations as microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice and very loud sounds (over 90 dB) may not be recognized in most devices.
